Joining Together

Bloomfield Development Corporation, Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation, and Lawrenceville Corporation have joined together to offer help collaboratively to small businesses and residents in their communities.

Once the pandemic hit, the organizations immediately responded by helping businesses explore and embrace new business models, providing technical assistance to business owners applying for loans and grants, and advocating for business-friendly policies.

Lawrenceville, Garfield and Bloomfield have had success in creating a unique sense of place by leveraging cultural elements of the community. By launching the BGL brand and upcoming shared events, connections between businesses, residents, and visitors will grow stronger. Local businesses are the backbone of our districts and BGL is home to local artists, makers, chefs, brewers, and entrepreneurs old and new.
